  2. This terrific home literally has it all – the inside is well appointed with all the modern comforts; the view is spectacular; the location is happily accessible to everything; and even the weather was fabulous. It is well described in the ad: a perfect menu of outdoorsy activities nestled in a serene setting for maximum absorption of north Idaho majesty. This is a rental that welcomes you “home,” accommodating all ages and surpassing every expectation. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return!

  3. We LOVED our time at this quaint cabin! We lived on the deck, dock, and in the river during our stay; The floor to ceiling windows beckon you out of doors. The cabin feels quiet and protected, nestled into a private wooded section of the river. Everything is comfortable and well-maintained. We are hoping to get back again this summer.

  8. This is a review of a book I recently read entitled "Derailed: Five Lessons Learned From Catastrophic Failure of Leadership," by Dr. Tim Irwin. I read this because I like to stay informed with what's going on out in the "real world," even though I am what most would categorize as a "soccer mom." I was really looking forward to reading the six CEO's that Irwin profiles at the beginning of the book. I am a fan of a couple of those large corporations, so I was intrigued to see what went wrong on the inside. Unfortunately, in almost every case of the six, the details were omitted while the reader was given a general personality or moral failure as the reason for each of their "derailments." However, what I found is that the real heart of the book is found in the second half where Irwin analyzes how to "stay on the rails." He occasionally refers back to the six CEO's he originally profiled to give examples, but in each of these chapters he gives even better examples, in my opinion, of what it means to stay on track and quite simply, to "Do what's right." This is really a character building book that reveals how the humble lead and stayed engaged with their co-workers. I came away much more satisfied after finishing the book than I was half-way through it. It's a book I'd like to give each of my kids as they enter the workforce. He's got some great advice for any reader.
